How to keep my geese from brooding?

I have a flock of Dewlap Toulouse that have been laying for nearly 3 wks now. 4 geese 2 ganders sharing 3 nests in a divided shed and outdoors. Three of the girls have begun to try and sit on the eggs during the late afternoon but one has an outdoor nest that isn't even in any of the goose nest shelters I made and I'm worried to let her sit there. Also, I've had some bad experiences with my Toulouse trying to set their own eggs. I've been taking their eggs away, so when they are trying to sit they are sitting on empty nests or nests with only 1-2 eggs in them. I've been moving the girl outside from her nest every night and putting her to bed, she is far more serious then the other two and has her gander on her side. They've laid about 10 eggs each so far, so they shouldn't be done yet, right? Any ideas on how to break the brood and keep them laying?

Edit:
Oh, forgot to mention. I'm still getting eggs, but I'm having to really fight for them and get them when the girls are off swimming.

Thanks

Oh no, I thought it might be that way. Think they'd hatch some chicken eggs if I let them have some?

If they have no eggs to sit on, what will they do? Sit on an empty nest?

You need to break the cycle to get them to start laying again. Seperate the broody goose into a pen by herself with no nesting area. Be prepared for much complaining from her and her mate. After a week or so release her. After a resting period of several weeks, she may recycle and start laying again. Geese are probably too heavy to hatch chicken eggs, Allowing them to hatch anything will prolong the cycle and limit the chances of them laying again this season. If you want them to hatch something, why not goose eggs?

One girl started laying again, but the other two aren't budging. I'll probably try that with at least one of the two, but I don't know if my family wants more then one angry goose in the garage. /:

Thanks, yeah your right. I'm just desperate for a broody and even something outrageous like having them hatch my eggs sounds good right now.

Thanks again, I'm going to try this.
