How to keep your chickens cool?

So I just tried water in a large plastic tub lid and I added crushed Ice. They were very apprehensive and I put them each one by one to stand in it now they are playing in it. So now that I figured that out now it is going to thunderstorm!! Its a good thing I am retired and only working part time cause these chicky babies are keeping me running around like a chicken with its...................! Almost everyday since I got them moved into the coop(except the days I work) Im working on it constantly!
