Did you know that the hotness is harder on your chickens than the cold weather? You need to keep your chickens cool in warm weather. Here are some examples;
I take a large container and fill it with berries, lettuce, grass, ect. I fill the container up with water and put it in the freezer. When it is COMPLETLY frozen take it out and give it to your chickens. It keeps them cool and at the same time gives them something to do.

I also cut milk jugs in half and fill them with water and let them freeze. When frozen put it in your coop. Your chickens will sit on it and around it.

I HOPE I HELPED!!!

I freeze water in a large plastic container, then pop it out and put it a loaf pan, fill to the top with water and put it under their coop. They love the ice cold water! I also keep a frozen small plastic pitcher in the freezer then set it inside the coop in the afternoon. Keeps it cooler for them at night. Our coop is shaded from 2:00pm on and we have a shade cloth that is the top of our run.
