how to know when roster is "ready to work" ?

hi 2 of my rosters did there first kokoriko today and i wonder if this is a sign of them to be ready to work ?

kokorico means to crow in french?

If so, he's probably close to the age where he'll start to mount/mate the hens...tho hens the same age might not be ready!
