HOW to know when to order more?{update}

so confused!
I am so confused!
Right now we have a nice flock size 5
3 rir and 2 plymouth rock.

well right now i have sitting in a "shopping cart" 3 mixed breeds from "mypetchicken"

the problem- husband keeps comming over to see what i am doing on the computer and is making comments "what are you doing ordering more chickens?" ugh!

I already have 2 ducklings comming in march that we are going to start to build their duck home.

what to do

should i empty the cart?

so on the drive home from dropping the 2 (monkeys) to my moms house for the night, hubby says "so did you order the chickens?"

"no i say" Guess for now ill be patient with my duckies comming!
I am thinking sometime soon tho
chickys are so fuzzy and cute!!

Just my opinion, but I think you may have come to the wrong place to ask if you should get more chickens...

I feel your pain though!!

As a BYC rule of thumb...if you can still count your chickens(especially on fingers and/or toes)...you MUST ORDER MORE!
