How to make a homemade egg tray

I am going to build a homemade incubator out of an old fridge to incubate my call duck eggs. I have everything ready but the egg trays. Lacrystols hatching technique (I think works best for calls) says that they have to sit sideways but all hatching trays have the eggs facing up. Any ideas on what to do?

You could make something like this but a little smaller for duck eggs. I hatch my duck eggs standing up, and haven't had any problems but all I have ever hatched was Muscovys.
