Alright so i've been storing quail eggs for incubation for a couple of days now and was wondering how you keep the humidity at an ideal spot 45-55% ive heard of the wet paper towel but that seems like it would keep it too high

Start your incubator and add a small amount of water to it. Then experiment with the amount of water. Right now it is so humid here I've been adding only 1 table spoon in the morning and 1 tablespoon at night. It might take more or less where your at.
It may take a few hours to figure it out or over night before you can add eggs.
