How to mix Nu-Stock and how often to apply for scaly leg mites

I recently purchased some Nu-Stock because I have read online that it works really good for treating scaly leg mites. However when I opened the packaging for the bottle, I can tell that there is some sort of solid mass that has separated from the liquid in the bottle. I have massaged it for a long time and it doesn't seem to be mixing together properly. Does anyone have any advice on this? Also how often should I apply to my birds for scaly leg mites?

You have to shake it well. If it's still bad, soak the sealed tube in warm water and try again, maybe knead it a little bit.

I'd go in at night and slather their legs and feet and do this every other night for at least a week.
