This is how we moved a coop cheaply without a tractor or anything motorized. my coop is about 4' by 5' and weighs over 1000 pounds. using 2 $15 furniture rollers recommended for 1000 pounds each we moved the coop over 100 feet on rocks grass and uneven surfaces. to lift the coop to get the rollers under it we used a scrap 2 by 4 and a small scrap 4 by 4. we shoved the 2 by 4 underneath the coop then pushed the 4 by 4 in between the 2 by 4 and the ground creating a new pivot point for the 2 by 4 to be lifted then all you do is stand on the 2 by 4 and it lifts the coop. here' all the pictures of how we did it and the final product.
