Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do. 
I just got some hatching eggs I ordered from Taters Chickens, Heritage RIR eggs. This is probably the best packing job I have ever seen (not trying to run down anyone else). All eggs in fine shape, not a crack. Nice and clean.

Anyway, it is such a great packing job, and she put in so many extra eggs that I am a little embarrassed.
I really need to give credit where credit is due for these eggs. I know I have done this before, but that was last year, and I just do NOT remember how to give feedback.
You know, I have had a couple of bad experiences with hatching eggs, and then someone like this comes along, and really makes me feel wonderful.
