How to question about the forum?

I've tried searching and can't find answers to a couple of questions:
1. I've noticed some subjects/posts will have "Update" added to the subject line. I have not been able to find or figure out how to add the "update" note.

2. I've noticed sometimes that a person will suggest to the OP that their question might get better responses if the moved it into another forum. How do you move a post that you've already started?

Thanks for your help and I hope that I've posted these questions in the correct location. I'm still unsure about where some posts should go when they aren't on a specific issue like health or coop design.

Oh thanks for the quick response! I had used edit before but dumb me hadn't noticed that the subject line is also available for edit in the original post!

If you would like a moderator to move a post, how or where do you ask?...in the post itself or email them?

Sometimes you can find the moderators posting or they will move it to a subject they think it fits better in.

Also, near the edit button is a report button. If you hit that, it takes you to a screen where you can then say you would like the thread moved to a more suitable location.
