Hi guys! I need a little help! My ducklings are currently a week old so this isn’t something I have to do now but for when the time comes it will help! I bought a duckling starter food from my TSC and it currently has 22% protein. On the back of the bag it says I can feed my ducklings this all the way up to 20 weeks of age. I’ve read a lot about have to reduce their protein levels after about 3 weeks of age. Any ideas on the best way to do that? I’ve read adding rolled oats and even chick grit! I’m just not sure how much to use. My ducking starter is an 8lb bag. I’ve tried a website that helps you figure out your ratio but it always says error. Any ideas on the best way to go about this? Or on your thoughts? Anything would help!

I also had this concern as my pekin ducklings were growing quickly. I added whole oats, but didn't really measure. I'm sure someone else here will be able to offer more specific guidance.
