We recently had an attack on our coop at night and lost one chicken and had an injured one as well. We removed her from the flock kept her inside for the night and put her on the deck in a dog crate for the day. Somehow she managed to slip through the crate and disappeared for a couple of days. This morning she came walking across the yard when she heard us at the coop with her sisters. Her wounds seem to have healed, but when I tried to put her into the coop with the others one of them started to almost puff up and looked like it was going to be a fight. I've since removed her from the coop and run and have her safely beside the run with food and water.. I'm hoping her being beside her sisters this will remind them that she's ok. Any suggestions on what else I can do to help her back into the coop safely?

I would reintroduce her immediately and monitor the situation. It is normal for some skirmishing upon reintroduction. If it seems extreme, break up the fight. As long as blood is not being drawn, let them work things out. The longer you wait, the more difficult the reintroduction. It can also help to remove the aggressor for a day or more while the reintroduced bird regains her position in the pecking order.
