How to resize pictures?. Arlee453 your help is wanted!

How do I resize pictures I wanted to resize my picture for my blog like arlee453, If you are reading this arlee how did u get the picture under you title to fit just right without being so big? how did u resize it?

HI Amanda, I am not real computer savvy, I down loaded googles Picasa its free http://picasa.google.com/ and then clicked on the photo I wanted made smaller hit export, typed in the size and then sent it to "my photos" on my computer.. like I said I am sure there is an easier way but it works for me :O)
