Well, it's been at least 3 months and I have one Golden Wyandotte hen who is convinced she is going to hatch eggs, even though we have no rooster and she has no eggs under her. She, with very little coaxing, exits the nest when I go out and eats. She is not real aggressive and allows me to pick her up. However, she continues to go back in the nest box. I didn't know if there was anything else I might do to break this habit, especially with the hot weather approaching. I'm worried that this is unhealthy behavior. Any suggestions?
