How to stop inappropriate behavior in broody drake?

I understand they are pets, as are my chickens, but they need to be outside, ducks are not indoor animals.
They are indoors just at night like i said before which i dout is a problem as either way they would be in a shed of some sort if i kept them outside at night. I do want to remind you my question is about my ducks aggression not my set up, thank you.

It's tricky because we love our animals. My dog was used to sleeping on my bed. Unfortunately this confused him and thus he would growl at my partner when we moved in together. I had to remove my dog from bed and from bedroom completely to get the behaviour to stop. Once he got the message, we can now let him on a dog bed in our room without issue.

Everyone finds their own balance. No right/wrong/judgement. To stop the behaviour after such a stretch does require uncomfortable choices for you. Only you know which ones you can live with. I wish you all the best. 🙂

Buddy is luckly fine in my bedroom (he isnt on my bed, he has his own cage and cant get to me) he is just a problem outside when he bites at me while im trying to clean the chicken coups but im happy you were able to work things out with your dog, ill keep this in mind if i ever have an issue similar. Buddy is already being much better now that i stopped touching his chest and have been "pecking" at him like people told me too, he even still comes to say hi to me and seems to have taken no offense. So i thank everyone for the help i was scared to reach out bc i thought people would judge or sm... Which is why i left it so late but he is a smart boy and i think hes already learning. 💕

You were right to reach out. Good job. I know you will find your own balance.

If nothing you are trying works enough...keep in mind the message you send by removing them from your company/bedroom at night is a powerful one. You can keep that option as back up if you need it. Good luck!
Thank you so much it means a lot! I hadnt thought about how powerful of a message that could be, Buddy loves my bedroom bc he grew up in it so im sure it would defently get the message across. I'll keep this in mind just incase, thank you again it means a lot that you were so kind ill defently be coming back if i ever have anymore questions. 💕

You are very welcome. If you feel shy with a duck question you can send private messages too. I have done that before. I was embarrassed about how nervous and freaked out I was about my ducklings slow response to niacin deficiency treatment so I messaged an experienced person privately using the envelop icon. She was really nice and didn't mind at all.
