How to tell different breeds

I recived 4 chicks on my order:


cuckoo maran: came blk/white with little yellow, now 6 wks and is black/white not really striped, but some

buff orpington: came little yellow chick, not 6wks, still yellow

ameraucana: came and looked like a chipmonk, so we named her that, still same colors

barred plymouth rock: came blk/white little yellow, but now blk/white but more stripes than the other

I am not sure which is which, so this is my best guess. Can anyone with experience tell me if I have this right. I may have recivved 2 of the same black/white ones, but they are starting to look different. I looked up breeds, but some of the buff orpinton looks like the ameraucana.

If you have photos, that would be helpful, but here's some help:

Buff Orpington: golden, feathers should be coming in a darker buff-gold. Should be a little larger than the other chicks and its comb should be more prominent.

Barred Plymouth Rock: black with a white spot on either side of its beak and a larger white spot on its head. Feathered, it should have "bars" of lighter grey on the feathers. Creamy belly. More docile that the Cuckoo Maran.

Cuckoo Maran: almost identical to the Barred Rock, but the white spots on either side of its beak are missing or very subdued. Its feathers will have bars, too, but they will be more irregular in their pattern than that of the Barred Rock. The Cuckoo Maran should be a little more active than the Barred Rock.

Ameraucana: chipmunk striping. The striping should be fading now and the feathers should be coming in, usually white to brown. Sometimes stippled, sometimes laced. True Ameraucanas match the color descriptions set by the APA in the "Standards," so your Ameraucana might be an Easter Egger. This chick probably feathered more quickly than the others and is probably much more active.

omg do you know your chicks, you are right on. I would post pics, but I don't know how, maybe that img buttom on top?
