i agree about not buying from places like that had a friend buy chicks from a place that let everyone touch them months later it had mg as the owner of the place they got them from has chicks they add to the hatchery orders chick bin and their birds had mg aswellEhhh.... don't think the wing feather things works with all breeds.
.....and I'd not recommend buying chicks from anywhere that allows the public free access to the chicks like that.
For most breeds 4-6 weeks will tell the tale on the males by size and color of combs and wattles. If you don't want males don't buy straight run.
Even pullets run the risk of 10% males.
I wing feather sex all my chicks, from my own flock, & from feed stores. I make little to no mistakes each time.
2 pullets, 1 possible cockerel. What are these? Male or female? 3 different birds.
Top and bottom are definitely girls though?2 pullets, 1 possible cockerel.
The one in the middle is the one that's questionable.
