So for a while I thought Jp and Sascha were one male (jp) and one female (Sascha) but now I’m not sure. They are both roughly the same size. Both about 18-0 weeks old. Neither makes a lot of noise. Any reliable way to tell before spring comes and hormones take over?

I think you cannot be certain until they start to vocalize. Females make chirping noises, and males huff and puff when excited.

However your two, if I were a betting person, I would guess to be both female. They are sweet looking muscovy.

The one with more white on the chest, JP, is so sweet. Sascha is too cool to be seen with her human anymore, but Jp still likes me to pet them and will eat out of my hand. Such a sweet little duck
