How to tell which end is the pointy end

Hi,
I've just recieved my eggs through the post so I'm storing them before putting them in the incubator as I'm waiting for the temp and humidity ect to get right. My question is... Some of the eggs are pretty round both ends and it's hard for me to tell which way up I should put them. Any tips?

you can candle them, the large end is the one with the air sac

Use a flashlight with a bright light in a dark area (bathroom no with windows works). shine the light on the egg. If you move the light around the egg, you will see the air sack at one end. Since you said that they were shipped, you may be able to see if the membrane is loose as it will move when you turn the egg.
