How to withdrawal eggs from one chicken...

If I need to withdrawal eggs from one chicken and not the others and I cannot tell her eggs apart, is there a way to alter the appearance of the egg to achieve this end??? One of my kids suggested food coloring in the vent which sounded ridiculous to me..... But maybe not???

People use the food coloring and lipstick in the vent to tell certain hens eggs apart. Easier to just seperate the hen in a crate until she's good to have her eggs eaten again
