How well do you know your Animals?
Of course almost everyone has been outside in the dark with a flashlight. And if it is held just right at the perfect level, animal's eyes will reflect back a color.
Example:
I wear a head strap light at night now because of the shorter days and day light savings change.
I have goats, pigs, chickens, dogs and cat. They all have different glows and colors when I glance in their direction.
I don't want to give away they colors and spoil the future posts...
Question #1.

WHAT COLORS REFLECT OUT OF YOUR ANIMAL'S EYES?:pop

What kind of animals?
Alligators are always red. My goats have 3 different shades (not red)
Red I've seen in my rabbits, dogs are red, blue or greenish, goats are blue or greenish, cats are usually yellow or orange, donkeys fall in the blue green along with deer. My ducks are reddish, chickens are white I believe, but not sure as they aren't outside at night.

My one dog shines blue, the other shines orange, I quickly know who is who in the dark. Just tonight I learned my new green eyed cat shines orange at night.

I've done some reading on wild animals eye shine and together with size, height off ground, and color you can pretty accurately identify a predator or other wild animal creeping around in the dark.

Some of my Goats have the prettiest shade of blue green.. :)
