How will I know when my eggs are fertile?

I'm adding three or four roosters to my previously hens-only flock. Right now the roosters are only 12 weeks old. At approximately what age are the roosters sexually mature? Are they mature as soon as they start to cover the hens or is there a period when they are covering but not fertilizing the hens?

As far as I know, if they are mounting then they are able to fertilize.

Start looking for the fertilized egg "bulls-eye" in any you crack open to cook!
