I have a 6x12' space on the south side of a garage that I want to put chickens. Design a nice to look at yet simple to construct coop.

Needs:
1) at least 6' tall so I can walk in
2) reclaimed wood for siding
3) reclaimed metal for roofing
4) 6-12 chickens

I have an idea of what I want to do, but I'm interested in what you folks come up with for ideas.

That's not too far off what I'm working with (6'x10'). I'm doing a raised "loft" coop that is 4'x4'x6' with the run taking up the rest of the room and incorporating the space under the coop. It's based on this one (but flipped so the run comes off the 6' side):

Lots of ventilation...and more if you're in a hot climate.

What is your climate?

Putting your location in your profile will help folks make more viable suggestions.

I live in Massachusetts countryside

Would love to see pic of your coop @HighStreetCoop
