I was wondering how young can my 8 3 week old contournix chicks be to introduce to my 8 older birds. They have been outside in a separate area of my hutch for a week so they can see smell and hear each other But not get too each other. The hutch is 3 by 8 with 4 compartments. Can I introduce them to each other now since there is plenty of places for them to hide from each other. There is alLao lots of water and food spaces.

Yes wait until they’re at least 6-7 weeks before putting them in with the others. Otherwise if any of your young birds are female and they’re not ready to mate. The older males will try to kill them. I’ve seen things you don’t want to when you put birds that are too young with the adults.
