I hail from Los Angeles area, father of three wonderful, fun boys; born and raised city slickers.
Wife and I have talked about getting chickens for a long time and finally went out and bought some...er... 9 to be exact; all future egg layers. Less than a month old and so fun!
After three weeks of raising them, I wouldnt mind owning a thousand or so.
Glad to have found this great place, I read a bunch of posts already and think you are all nuts, crazy! But since I am liking it all...I guess that puts me in the very same place...lol
