I would remove the blocking from between the rafters and cover that area and the opposite side with 1/2" hardware cloth for more ventilation.

There is ventilation in the back under the roof. The front middle area is open and has hardware cloth on the inside. I didn’t know if the two front areas on either side that have blocking should also be vented or not.

We’re also supposed to be adding two side windows this week. Hopefully all will be well after that.
