Hi everyone. I just joined. I have a small flock: 6 hens and one a$$hole rooster. I would have gotten rid of the rooster but I need him to scare of predators or to alert the dogs. I have a small Fort Knox with a small covered run. I can’t have them run around the property because of the bears, foxes, coyotes, hawks… you name it, I have it. Anyways, I love my chickens, not the rooster, and I love spending time with them when I can isolate the rooster.
