Hi! I'm a newbie here and a relative newbie at poultry keeping.
I found the group by searching for information on my new backyard flock and decided I'd better join up.
We just moved to a place with a coop set up, so of course I got 10 chickens within a few weeks of being here. And then I rescued some ducks from some folks who couldn't take care of them anymore, so I'm learning by leaps and bounds. They have been a fun experience so far and a neat addition to the dogs and cat and reptiles we already had. We are trying to be more self sufficient in our lifestyle, so I also garden and would like to start composting soon.
