tvolsfan4life here. Had some old hens that someone had given me, but they were near the end of their laying days. I got some new chickens about 4 months ago. I was looking for good egg layers as well as people friendly chickens. I read about several different breeds but decided on Easter Eggers. I have 5 of them (one a rooster) and I have a Golden sex-linked, and a Black sex-linked. All have been very friendly and easy to raise so far. Haven't started getting eggs yet, but I am hoping that all changes in the next couple of weeks.
Anyway, I am sure I will have plenty of questions for all you experts and look forward to learning from you.
