Thanks for letting me join!

I was finally able to talk my husband into getting chickens, he agreed to four and that became 11! Gotta love chicken math!

When I was a kid we killed meat chickens for Sunday super but i have never had layers. Now I am in love. I have 3 easter eggers, 2 barred rocks, 1 wyandotte, 1 rhode island red (which was supposed to be a golden laced wyandotte!), 3 golden comets and 1 ISA brown (although cannot tell the difference in the comets and the ISA), I call them my 4 piece tenders lol.

My husband built their coop for $75 using reclaimed wood and he built their run for $60. I try never to pay full price for anything lol
