Howdy from NE Texas!

Wow- I never realized there is so much to learn about chickens!
Hubby and I are brand new to this and will need lots of 'instruction', I'm sure! We live near a small town in Northeast Texas and have a 2 acre homestead. We're in the process of building a portable chicken coop and will be getting a few Australorps when it is finished. We're both excited to be new parents!
This forum looks like a great place to hang out and learn -I'm glad to have found it!

I don't have any Australorps, but have heard they're wonderful...I'm sure you'll love them! I'm not sure where Rusk is, but I go up north all the time to visit my mom in Allen. Lots of BYC members up there
