Got my first chickens back in June 2013. Started out with 2 RIR pullets (started laying for me in November- Yay!! 2-3 eggs a day now. Then got a couple of hand-me downs twice removed.. Sorry bunch then, but mightly good looking now- a Jersey Giant rooster, a Barred Rock, & 2 white/grey hens. In addition to them, a beautiful pair Peacock & Pea hen. Haven't had chickens since I was in 4-H back in the '70's. Retired now, so they are so much fun and funny!
