Newbie to raising chickens. Have six pullets (hopefully) and three ducks, Pekin and Cayuga I'm guessing.

Welcome to BYC! Do you have any other pets or livestock? I am working on it, guineas coming on the 11th! Two rabbits, two dogs, a cat and kittens and plans for chickens and goats, maybe quail.

I'm a retired vet tech and currently do rescue and a licensed wildlife rehabber. So we have two baby skunks right now, just released five squirrels, have some doves and pigeons ready for flight cages, and two opossums finishing up for release. Weve got a slew of adoptable cats unfortunately that didn't adopt last fall. Weve also got two pet rats, a Rex rabbit and a mini lop. A boxer, a Gordon Setter, a chiweenie, and a foster fail gsd mix.
One of my friends here has a daughter allergic to chicken eggs and she got A&M Quail this spring and they are already laying for her.

Oh geez...the red sex links where the ones I was least worried about. I posted my blacks over there since they had pointy tail feathers. There are two red sex linked. Two black and two RIR.
