Hi to all on BYC... New to chickens this last spring but we are growing quite fond of the little critters. They fit right in with our small (10) herd of longhorns, a couple of cow horses to round up the strays with and 3 mini horses for the wife to show when she has time....... 2 dogs, 3 cats, blah blah blah....... enough about that now back to the chickens.... we currently have 6 EEs with 2 rooster, 5 Black copper french morans and 1 rooster..... and 4 Silkies with 1 rooster for them. Our Silkies and EEs are assorted colors but I would love to get an all white flock of each started..... any leads? Right now I have my BCFM rooster in with my EE hens because I heard, or read, that by crossing the 2 the next generation would produce darker green eggs....... Ok, so that' my story and howdy to all.
