Howdy from TX!

Hello! I'm not new to chickens, but am new to BYC We have a youngish flock of ~20 after starting over this spring. I recently bought an incubator, and have a batch of appenzaller spitzhuaben on day 6 right now!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. What part of Texas are you in? My wife and I were both raised in the great state of Texas. I've had dozens of breeds over the past 50 years, but Appenzeller Spitzhaubens are one breed that I've never personally owned. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Welcome - that is a beautiful breed, I've never seen them as chicks. Hope you will update after hatch and post some photos.
