I'm new to raising chickens (started in March). I have 2 Ameraucanas, 4 Easter Eggers & 3 silkies and I'm currently hatching 5 Easter Eggers & 2 silkies. I originally just wanted 5 chickens but these little sweeties have taken over. I first found BYC because I lost 2 roosters to a coyote & I have to say, the wisdom on this site is abounding!
