Can't wait for the pics! It sounds like a beautiful flock, do the ducks and chickens live together or are they separate?

We had to separate them. They get along for short periods of time but eventually the ducks wind up bullying the chickens. The birds are a hoot. I've toyed with the idea of other fowl, I love birds. Right now we're having a terrible problem with rats. I think we're winning. Ideas would be appreciated. BTW, love the psalm you shared!

Really? I'm getting ducks and want to put them with the chickens. I'm getting Blue Swedish. I heard that ducks have no pecking order so they would be fine with the chickens.

The problem with ducks & chickens, is the drakes can kill chicken hens by attempting to breed them. Duck anatomy is not compatible with chickens.

Ours don't seem to have a pecking " order" but when left with the hens they collectivly bully and peck the heck out of them. Our ducks are very bossy and come after us on a regular basis. They're ankle biters. We can launch them off the end of our foot( trust me, we don't hurt them) and they come back for more. Good luck with yours. We love them for their differences!
