Hey all,
My husband and I just got our first day old chicks 6 days ago. Neither of us have had chickens before, but are very excited to get started with them. We have:
- 2 australorps
- 1 easter egger
- 1 silver laced wyandotte
- 1 red star
- 1 barred plymouth rock
As of now, they're living in a gigantic box in a spare bedroom, but they'll be moving into the backyard in about another six weeks. Hopefully they'll keep us company while we're out in the garden and relaxing outside.
Looking forward to getting acquainted with the backyardchickens forum - I've heard great things about it!
