I'm Joni, just a friendly neighborhood lurker that has started trying to revitalize my flock with incubated chicks.
I was looking for some answers for my incubation problems and found you guys! I've been reading thru the forums and found alot of helpful info. I'm looking forward to returning here for future reference. Great place for like-minded people!

I had Light Brahmas years ago. Very calm and gentle birds. Henny Penny sounds like she might be a Black Silkie. I used to have some of them as well and they were so cheerful and friendly, and good brooders as well. I currently have Black Sex Links, Black Australorps, Buff Orpingtons, and Easter Eggers (because my granddaughter likes the colored eggs of the EEs). Good luck with your flock.
