I had chickens years ago when it was my daughter (oldest) and me. We ended up moving and had to give them away. Now I'm newly married (on year 2), have another child (3 yo) and a step son and I decided I wanted chickens again to feed all the people around (oldest is still here). My husband agreed (I think) and then I convinced him to build us a coop/run for our new ladies of the house. We moved them in yesterday and they seem to be enjoying their new freedom. The coop still needs the finishing touches (roof panels, nesting boxes put in place, food/water hung, and rest of paint/trim work) but I am SO happy with what my husband has accomplished in just a couple of weeks. (He's pretty proud of himself too!) :)

Overall it's 10ft x 7.5ft x 6.5ft (lowest roof point). The Coop itself is about 3.3ft x 7.5ft x 4ft (lowest point).

Looks pretty good! Congrats!
Make those roof panels hang way over to protect the extra venting you'll probably want to add.

Yeah the actual roof panels are longer and still need to be put on this week. There’s vents at the very top all the way around as well. Pictures just don’t show it well.
