I think you should take his remark as a compliment! I am flattered when my chickens want to hang out on or with me -- although some of my friends, as well as the employees at the local farm store, have suggested I MIGHT have a "chicken problem." Doesn't bother me, so it's not a problem . Lovely birds!

Awe, they're so cute. I agree with Calendar Girl, take it as a compliment! We handled our girls a lot but now that they've grown up they don't want to be touched, they just want to hang out around our feet trying to trip us
