HUGE afternoon Egg surprise!

The girls gave me the largest egg I have ever seen a chicken lay today. I had to check them, the EE'S to see if they were alright. This is why. It wouldn't even fit in an egg carton. I think I'll blow it out to keep it. The green layers were all fine, just amazing you think it would've gotten stuck.

It was a double yolker, about the same size as yours. I have a video of me cracking it.

One of the green layers is still laying jumbo sized eggs, not as big as the one in the picture though. I did vent checks and one of them seems to have a larger vent that gaps more than the other 3 hens. I suspect she was the one that had the huge egg.

I blew out my egg and it seemed to be just a single yolk, wasn't as much yolk as I thought there would be. It is now hanging in the kitchen from a thread.
