Day 10 with coturnix eggs. At 10pm lat night humidity was 50%. At 6:30am the hygrometer said 20% which could also mean 0% because it won't read anything lower than 20%. Has this happened to anyone before and do my chicks still have a chance?

mine went dry on day 19 yes after lockdown- the plugs got loose- ( opened it up and added water *shrug* )

It was also dry day 8 too.

I have 10 hatched, 2 wet the others dry and one pip - in 13 eggs

so right now if the two wet ones survive I have 10/13 (76.9%), if the one that piped decides to actually hatch I'm doing even better (84.6%) - but that one doesn't count -yet-p

I am sorry, I am confused....(a near constant state for me)....are you on day 10 now or are in the middle of hatch?

I'm on day 22 now in my hatch- I was mentioning to the OP that I had no water accidentally on day 8 and also no water on day 19- added water both times and I have 11/13 hatched (two still gooey, the other 8 fluffy) and one more piped (my hatch is late because of low temps)

who's mine? someone else? Did you report the error?

No its just that I'm at work and am doing this from my phone so I thought the page had refreshed and I had no responses, but actually the page had not refreshed at all so I just didn't see them and thought I was being ignored!!
