Hi everyone. I’m new to hatching eggs. I put the eggs into lockdown last night. I’m concerned I can’t get the humidity up. It’s currently at 62% (on the seperate hygrometer) and 72% on the incubator. I had to add 2 wet sponges and a wet cloth to get it up to this reading after filling all the trays. The temp is reading 37.7c on the thermometer inside the incubator and 38.5 on the incubator. But now I have condensation on the walls of the incubator (about a 1/4 the way up the sides). What should I do? I’m so stressed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The thermometer and hygrometer are one unit. I tested the thermometer but didn’t think about calibrating the hygrometer. Yes the vents at the top are open and there is one on the side (to add water is open). I guess it’s too late to open the bator to calibrate the hygrometer. They have been on lockdown for 16hrs.
