I have a Buff Orp incubating some mallard duck eggs.I have her in a comfortable spot outside. I'm just concerned cause the humidity outside has been high like 60 to 80%. I know duck eggs need more humidity, but how much is too much???
Thanks,Miriam

Hi!

I think that should be ok. I don't remember the exact best humidity off the cuff, but it sounds like it should be fine. I wouldn't worry.

70% humidity is a good target, and I suspect if higher humidity only lasts for a few days, you should be fine, especially if humidity has been below 65% earlier in the incubation.

Thank you
