What should the humidity be for hatching chicken eggs and should you change it during the final lockdown phase?

This is a subject of considerable dispute as some folks favor a much lower humidity than others.

Generally speaking though most extension sources recommend keeping the humidity between 50-55% from days one through nineteen then increasing it to 60-65% for the final three days.
