I can't seem to get my humidity level up past 50. And tomarrow is day 20 of this batch. We have noticed the egg moving, and I added an extra dish of water this morning to help get the level up but still no go. Any suggestions would be great

I used an icecube tray and can get to 57% max, so I got an ultrasonic travel humidifier from walgreens and that did the trick. I have no problem getting to 80%. but room may be of issue for your bator. Mine is a counter top display fridge that i converted so I have the room.

You can also add a clean sponge and stand it up out a bowl, or try misting.

I also use a sponge as this gives you good surface area.
Also one trick I do is to add hot water to the water trays or sponge when I need to add water.

A lot depends on where you are in the world.
Where I live in Ontario Canada and what works for me is a 32% average for the first 18 days and then I set for 60% until hatch day.
Once the chicks begin to hatch you cannot control the humidity anymore as the moisture from the chicks increases it very rapidly as they begin to dry off. and it will fluctuate up and down as this happens.

Hope this helps
