My incubator has automatic humidity control, but when I looked at them a moment ago, I realised they had droplets of water covering the eggs. what shall I do? What problems will this cause?

I put eggs in from just under room temperature, my incubator does not show a hygrometer, as it;s all automatic. the incubator has ventialtion, but I dhould not worry now, as the water on the eggs has gone and no more is appearing. Now my main concern is, part of my incubator viewing window is steamed up, not all of it, I presume this is normal?

Even if the incubator is "all automatic" I suggest that you at least get a cheap hygrometer, check it's accuracy, and then stick it in the incubator. Then you will *know* rather than assuming that the incubator is working as it should. Equipment has been known to malfuncition...just look at the space shuttle disasters.

I agree- you can get a one for under $10 at lots of places. If your windows are steaming up it's probably too humid for the first stages.
