I am on my 3rd hatch and so far have not had very good luck. I am hoping this one turns out better.
I have read through the sticky on humidity but am still a bit concerned and hoping for some encouragement.
My 2 previous hatches I ran at 25-35% humidity Days 1-18. Day 18-21 I have bumped it up to 65-75%. Almost all the eggs pipped but then died soon after. I also noticed when candling on Day 18 that nearly half the egg(sometimes more) was air cell.
This time my humidity has stayed between 40-54% and there is not a drop of water in the incubator. Today being Day 18 I candled this morning and saw that the air cells on these are much different than my previous ones.
The air cells on my current batch are smaller and a nice uniform round shape, taking up only maybe a third of the top of the egg.
My question is do these guys have a chance of hatching?
Is the smaller more uniform air cell what I should have had all along, telling me that the humidity was to low on the previous hatches?
Lastly, do I still bump up the humidity starting today?
